Under Superintendent Terry Grier’s leadership, the Guilford County School System has grown by leaps and bounds academically as well as physically. Voters have given the thumbs-up to a massive school construction and renovation plan.
The Greensboro Arboretum began as a project of the city’s parks and recreation department and the Greensboro Beautiful organization. Today, it features 17 acres of trees, shrubs and flower gardens.
